Happy Birthday, Star Wars!
30 years ago, in a Valley theater not that far away, I saw my first Star Wars film.
I'm proud to say it changed my life, made me aware that one person could do all sorts of things if they wanted to. And I loved that. My mother said I'd get over the movie, but I never did. So there, Mommy, Neener, neener, neener.
You can apply Star Wars anywhere, if you try. My current favorite line is "There is no civility, only politics."
My husband can be more conservative than me, he can be a jock, but he HAD to love Star Wars. Yeah.
